10th Racecourse of Turkey was opened in Döşemealtı – Antalya, the capital of tourism in Turkey, on Wednesday, 19 January.

The first race of Antalya racecourse was held at 14:00. Jammy Justen (Justenuffhumor – I Want Luck, Unaccounted For), the bay filly, trained by Serdar Seren Görgü and owned by Alp Ş. Evcimen won the maiden race on 1400 meters with her jockey Ahmet Çelik. The finish time for the winner was 1’32”23…
Antalya Racecourse is the third largest Racecourse in Turkey. Racing Season in Antalya Racecourse will last until 8 April and the horses will again be on the track for racing during the Fall Racing Season between 16 November – 30 December.
242 races will be run during the year and 137 of these races will be for Thoroughbreds and 105 races will be for Purebred Arabians.
The races will be held 2 days a week, every Wednesday and Friday.
After the lighting system is installed in February, it is planned to start the evening races.
