Irish-born 42-year-old veteran jockey Jamie Spencer is coming to Türkiye to ride in the Turkish 2000 Guineas which will be held on Monday, 15 May.

The experienced jockey, who is expected to come to Istanbul for the colt named Papagallo (Saxon Warrior), the winner of the Orhan Meker Free Handicap, who has started 4 times, the first race was on turf and the last three on synthetic track, and has won 2 of them and came second in other 2 races, had previously ridden in our country in 2001 and 2012.

Spencer finished fourth with Endless Hall in the G2 International Bosphorus Cup in 2001, came twentieth in 2012 Gazi Derby, and finished fifth with Red Duke in the G2 International Topkapi Trophy.

Experienced jockey, who won a race with Win River Win in 2006, came third with Grand Ekinoks and finished fifth with Sabirli in Dubai.
